Jerel Choate has been a licensed commercial real estate broker in Texas for over 20 years. Prior to joining RESOLUT RE in 2013, he was a Principal at Coldwell Banker Commercial Brokerage Group, where he received the prestigious “Multi-Million Dollar Producer” award every year, for all 8 years of his employment with the company. He has experience working with clients all over the United States and internationally.

Jerel has been involved in all aspects of the commercial real estate industry. He has represented sellers, buyers, owners/users, landlords and tenants in the sale, purchase and leasing of retail centers, office buildings, industrial properties, and raw land. He has also helped numerous clients lease properties for their businesses, and in the process, worked with local planning and zoning boards to acquire the needed zoning for their concepts.

Jerel is a member of the Central Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (CTCAR), the Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA), the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Texas Association of Realtors (TAR) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Additionally, he is a certified negotiator and is working on his CCIM certification. Mr. Choate received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from the University of Colorado.

Jerel and his wife, Karen, have lived in Austin for over 30 years and have two sons, both of whom are architects and live in the Austin area as well.
